The problem

Most Nepali 'UI/UX' work is visual design with a user-experience label on top. The process goes: mood board, five Figma screens, delivery. No interviews, no usability testing, no journey mapping, no measurable success criteria. The result looks nice in a portfolio and converts nothing, because nothing about it was rooted in what users struggled with. Then the developer builds it, users hate it, and everyone blames the developer.

Real UX starts before Figma opens. It starts with watching five users try to complete a task on your current product, counting where they hesitate, and listening to what they say out loud. Most of our design recommendations emerge from that room, not from a designer's aesthetic preference. We sweat the visual craft too — but the craft serves the research, not the other way around.

User research and journey mapping

User interviews (5–8 is usually enough), contextual inquiry, and synthesized journey maps that show where users drop off, what they're thinking at each step, and which moments matter. We share raw interview notes and synthesized findings separately so your team can form their own conclusions — not just accept ours. Research deliverables are reusable for marketing, sales, and product teams too.

Information architecture

Card sorting, tree testing, and structured navigation design before any visual work starts. We map your content inventory, group by user mental model (not internal org chart), and validate with real users that people can actually find what they need. This is the least visible part of UX and the one clients underinvest in most — we won't let you skip it.

Wireframing and prototyping

Low-fidelity wireframes to nail flow, then mid-fidelity prototypes in Figma for stakeholder review, then high-fidelity interactive prototypes users can actually click through. Every transition and state (loading, empty, error, success) is designed — not left for the developer to guess. Prototypes ship as Figma links your dev team can inspect.

Visual and brand-aligned UI design

Pixel-level visual design grounded in the grid, typography scale, and color tokens we establish up front. We design for accessibility from the start — color contrast meets WCAG AA, focus states are real, and text resizes without breaking layouts. Dark mode is designed, not auto-generated. The end result looks premium because the underlying system is disciplined.

Design systems and component libraries

Tokens in Figma (colors, type, spacing, elevation), reusable components with variants and props, and clear usage guidelines. We hand off a system that developers can build against in shadcn/ui, Tailwind, or your stack of choice. A design system saves teams months on every subsequent feature — we quantify the ROI before recommending one.

Usability testing and iteration

Moderated testing over Zoom, unmoderated via Maze or UserTesting, and lightweight five-second tests for quick comprehension checks. We run two rounds of testing on any significant flow before dev starts, fix the top issues, and document what we changed and why. Designs that haven't been tested are just guesses in a nicer font.

Our process

Four phases, no surprises

  1. 01

    Discovery & research

    Stakeholder interviews, user research (5–8 sessions), and competitive analysis. You receive a written research summary that your whole team can read, not a deck that lives in a designer's folder.

  2. 02

    IA & wireframes

    Sitemap, user flows, and wireframes for every key screen. Validated with at least one round of user testing before we open the visual design.

  3. 03

    Visual design & prototype

    High-fidelity screens in Figma, interactive prototypes, and a lightweight design system. Two rounds of stakeholder feedback baked into the schedule.

  4. 04

    Handoff & support

    Developer handoff with redlines, Figma dev mode, and a live review session. We stay available during build to answer questions and iterate on designs where dev reality disagrees with the prototype.
